Operation MO Weeks 3-10: Excuses! Excuses!

Here we are, Week 10, and as you can see many weeks have passed since my last weight loss blog and what a roller coaster it has been. In weeks 3 and 4, I have no excuse other than I was being lazy and couldn’t get my butt out of bed to workout before going to work because of the time change. In weeks 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 I had been a bit of a slacker with holidays and birthdays but was also busy taking care of myself, my wife and son while we were all sick from a continuous circle of daycare funk (that kid is going to have perfect attendance from kindergarten on, haha). The good news is though, I hit the pavement for the first time in weeks this week. It’s amazing how much better one feels, mentally and physically, after exercising. Hopefully we can all stay healthy and on track.

We are fans of the NBC show, The Biggest Loser, and I recently picked up their newest book (see below) about getting a good jump start. I’ve always thought it would be awesome to go on that show for the education, the challenge and the benefit of losing the weight. I’m however, not big enough, which is a good thing. So maybe one day we will win the lottery and can just pay Jillian to come train us. lol

So, enough with the slacking and excuses, time to finally get back into it and achieve the goal I originally set back in Week 1!
